Tramec UDL Disc type mechanical variators operation is based on an epicyclic transmission that provides infinitely variable ratio, with output speeds between 76% and 12% of motor speed while multiplying torque proportional to speed reduction at efficiencies averaging 84%. The machine designers appreciate this simple, low cost, low maintenance, reliable compact little speed variator, and use it in seemingly endless ways to vary speed and manipulate torque. The UDL is a no-frills, low cost variator that works.

Sizes 003 to 10 Housings & Motor Flanges of aluminum, finished inside & out in polyester epoxy blue RAL5010.
