RL
Series is the workhorse in the automatic equipment world for 24 hour/day
production. Easy to mount on five sides, 1:1, 1:2, and 2:1 ratios,
with two or three shafts and several orientations. Quiet, precise,
and reliable Gleason spiral bevel gearsets assure long life and high
performance. Six sizes are available to suit your needs in a compact,
maintenance free, ready to use package. |

These RL series is used around
the world in many applications. These are light weight and
compact, yet surprisingly powerful (11 hp rated 1/1 fits in your hand,
roughly 4" x 5", and weight just 12.5 lbs for size RL34). The
smallest size is the RL31 which is just 2 5/8" x 2 1/2" approximate size
with a weight of just 10 ounces... rated at 3000 rpm and 3/4 hp it is
amazing. |

aluminum alloy casting with five mounting points and three flanges.
- Gleason Coniflex(TM)
bevel gears with localized contact to ensure maximum load capacity
in forward or reverse.
- Gear material of
Nickel-Chrome steel that is case hardened for high surface hardness
and ductile & resilient core.
- Tested for Noise,
backlash, fit, and finish. ISO 9002 production.
- Backlash of <5 arc min is
available on request for right angle servo and stepper applications
requiring precision.
- Synthetic lubricated for
long, maintenance free, universal mounted life.
- Extreme high or low
temperature oil and seals are available upon request.
- 21 to 407 in-lbs
output torque (T2N).
- i = 1:1, 1:2, 2:1
standard ratios.
- 6 ~ 10 arc min
standard backlash, <5 arc minutes available in reduced backlash
configuration.
