X Series Worm and Helical Worm Universal Mount Gear Reducers

 

 Tramec Series "X" right angle worm drive speed reducers are an exciting new range of aluminum worm gear reducer and cast iron worm gear reducer for the TVT Group around the globe.  While directly interchangeable to the old fashioned NMRV, the X is heat sink free (easier to clean, less opportunity to collect dirt), and paint free (corrosion resistance cast into alloy) and machined on six sides for precision universal mounting.  X series is available in Close Coupled, Shaft Input, and easy to service "coupling" style input, as well as single and double input shafts.

X and H series is designed in a modular vacuum diecast gearcase, leak free, and machined on fully automated CNC machining centers to provide a product that is readily adaptable, quick to assemble, and very cost competitive via a design & manufacture advantage approach.   We can quickly assemble standard parts into a near infinite combination of input, output, ratio, and mounting configuration to suit your need exactly... and ship quickly one piece or many.   Creative solutions, such as double output flanges, double input flanges, one motor with two reducers in AC or DC gearmotors, with our without brakes, can be created quickly without high expense.

  • Housing: Vacuum diecast corrosion resistant alloy aluminum in sizes 30 to 75, Engineered cast iron sizes 90 to 130.
  • Shaft or Flanged Input style available for immediate assembly.
  • Single or Double, Hollow, and torque limiter outputs with torque-arm, flange, and universal foot mounting.
  • Gears: Superclean & hard forged bronze over cast iron hub machined to high recess action profile.
  • Worms: Machined from solid steel bar (not roll formed), then case carborized, quench hardened, and ground.
  • Bearings: Precision Tapered Roller & Ball - ISO Grade Manufactured of 52100 Vacuum Degassed Steels.
  • Tested for Noise, backlash, fit, and finish. ISO 9002 production.
  • Sizes 30, 40, 50, 63, 75, 90, 110, and 130.
  • 124 to 12500 in-lbs output torque (T2N).
  • i = 5 to 100 in 12 standard ratios..(5, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100)
  • Reduced backlash and servo inputs available by request.
  • ITL (Integrated Mechanical Torque Limiter) optional.
