Berges RD..b type double pulley & belt drive system uses the industry standard Berges R..b mechanically adjusting pulley as found on the industry standard Berges RF..b series, with the addition of Berges D..b type torque control tensioning pulley.  The RD..b is the evolution of Berges's leadership in variable speed belt pulley systems for decades.   The D..b output tensioning pulley operates as a normal spring pulley upto nominal power, beyond this the D pulleys integrated cam locks hold the pulley as a ridged sheave.  The RD..b system from Berges GmbH allows a high protection against overload.   The RD..b is not suited for reversing operations.

TVT America offers the full range of Genuine Berges Variable Speed Belts and Pulleys, as well as enclosed belt driven systems.  For replacement of pulleys and belts, it is helpful to remember that the D..b type pulley is a spring tension pulley, and the "R..b" is the Adjusting pulley.  For example, to replace the Spring pulley from a RD210b-38 drive set, the part required is a D210b-38 pulley.  If a belt is required, the RD210b-38 set would use a 37x10...the length of the belt is also required.  For example 37x10x1000LI is a 1000mm long belt for the RD210b pulleys.
