Tramec's T series is one of the most successful products in the TVT America range.

Based on the six-sided precision machined modular gearcase used also by our series Z, the T range applies a matched & honed Gleason spiral-bevel gearset in the primary stage followed by one, two, or three High Capacity Helical Gear stages.   Quiet, power dense, high ratio, maintenance free, and cool running 20,000 hours of maintenance free life is assured with synthetic gearlube.

Cost savings is straight forward - Rather than outsourcing everything to a third world country, Tramec has designed a modular component system to allow high volume, automated manufacture, with ideal statistical process controlled precision, to produce at very low prices, while assuring fast delivery from standard, ready to assemble, high quality components.

 TSeries is available in nine (9) double reduction and eight (8) triple reduction sizes, ranging from 8 to 630/1 ratios to provide ideal mix of ratio, service factor, and compact size for many applications.  Standard Synthetic Lubricant for 20,000 hours maintenance free service, as well as a wide array of accessories for backstop, bearing covers, torque-arm, flange mounts, servo input, shrink disc output, and hydraulic, PMDC, and AC Gearmotors.

  • Housing:Near-net Cast Iron Grade EN GJL 200 UNI EN 1561, internally ribbed & polyester epoxy painted in&out.
  • Shaft or Flanged Input style available for immediate assembly.
  • Single or Double, Hollow, & Shrink Disc outputs with torque-arm, flange, and universal foot mounting.
  • Gears:  Case Carborized, quenched, and ground 16CrNi4 or 18NiCrMo5 Helical protuberance hobbed gears.
  • Bearings: Precision Tapered Roller - ISO Grade Manufactured of 52100 Vacuum Degassed Steels.
  • Tested for Noise, backlash, fit, and finish. ISO 9002 production.
  • 973 to 104,852 in-lbs output torque (T2N).
  • i = 8 to 630/1 standard ratios + near unlimited gear, motor, or Variator inputs from TVT.
  • 12-15 < Arc Min backlash 2 stages, 15-17 <Arc Min backlash 3 stages of reduction.
